CAIRO, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwait has made all necessary preparations for hosting the Arab economic summit on January 19-20, a Kuwaiti official affirmed on Monday.
Kuwait's Permanent Delegate at the Arab League Abdullah Al-Mansour said in a statement to journalists following a meeting with the Arab League Secretary General, Amr Moussa, that the forthcoming conference would be a successful event and would manifest "genuine joint Arab action." The summit will certainly end with resolutions that will serve interests of all Arab peoples, he added.
Al-Mansour confirmed that his talks with Moussa dealt with the preparations for the curcial summit, and indicated that the league's Secretariat General received several draft agendas proposed by the participating states. He indicated that the papers were being examined by special panels.
