(With photos) CAIRO, Oct 11 (KUNA) -- Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of Kuwait Hussein Al-Huraiti arrived here Saturday from Morocco to head an extraordinary meeting for Arab Justice Ministers Sunday.
Huraiti told KUNA after his arrival that the meeting was very important in order to find a unified decision against the International Criminal Court (ICC) chief prosecutor's indictment of Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir on war crimes charges.
He said Kuwait's responsibility as the President of the Arab League Justice Ministers Council was to issue a resolution against these allegations.
The meeting came after the Arab League council called for an irregular session back in July to review the issue.
It also came to fulfill the League's Ministerial council desires to hold such a meeting.
Sudan hopes that the justice ministers would refuse the ICC's prosecutor arrest warrant request. (end) mab.gta KUNA 111953 Oct 08NNNN
