SANAA, Sept 25 (KUNA) -- The terrorist attack that targeted the US Embassy here has not had a negative impact on Sanaa-Washington relations, said Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi on Thursday.
In a statement to "Al-Meethaq" newspaper, the mouthpiece of the ruling party, he said, "We found the Americans understanding of the circumstances of the attack, and they commended Yemen's counter-terrorism efforts." He said his country was being assisted by the international community in its fight against terrorism, but noted that "this support is not as strong as the challenges Yemen is facing, nor the development in acts of terrorism and vandalism that we have been seeing in recent years."
