RAMALLAH, Aug 2 (KUNA) -- Two Palestinians were injured when Israeli
settlers attacked on Saturday a Palestinian wedding ceremony in the twon of
Hebron in the West Bank.
A group of settlers attacked by throwing stones at Al-Ja'bary wedding
ceremony in the city, injuring two of the participants, Palestinian
eyewitnesses said.
They added that fist fights took place between the two sides while
Palestinians attempted to defend themselves.
Palestinian residents of Hebron (or al-Khalil in Arabic) have been under
constant attacks by Israeli settlers who live in the suburbs after
confiscating Arab and residential areas in the town.
Last night, a Palestinian mother and her little daughter were hurt when
they were pelted with stones near a Jewish settlement in the Israeli-occupied
West Bank.
"Falestine Malla, 30, was seriously hurt, and her daughter Hadil was also
injured when stones were thrown at their car near the Yitzar settlement Friday
