IRBIL, June 22 (KUNA) -- Three Iraqi people were killed and two others
were injured on Sunday due to an explosion of an improvised explosive device
(IED) that rocked northen city of Kirkuk.
Police officer Brigadier Sarhad Qader told KUNA that an explosive device
detonated in a civilian car that was crossing southern Kirkuk. The blast
claimed three peoples' lives at least, including two women, and injured a
couple of civilians.
Another IED went off, he said, near buildings of the Iraqi Red Crescent and
Handicapped Association in Al-Wasiti neighborhood in Kirkuk. it caused neither
casualties, nor damage. (end)
