KUN0092 4 GEN 0137 KUWAIT /KUNA-PIY0 PPL-QATAR-UK-CHARLES Prince Charles visits popular market in Qatar DOHA, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- Britain s Prince Charles and his wife Camilla accompanied by Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad al Thani, Chairperson of the Council of Trustees of the Qatar Museums Authority and Deputy Chairman of the Authority Sheikh Hassan bin Mohammed bin Ali al Thani visited this evening Souq Waqef a popular folk market in the Qatari capital. Prince Charles toured the market, where he got acquainted with the shops selling things such as historical pictures, popular textile industry and hunting tools. Earlier, Prince Charles visited the English School as part of programme of his current four-day visit to Qatar.
