Kuwaiti businessman meets Tunisian PM, discuss investment cooperation
TUNIS, Nov 14 (KUNA) -- Managing Director and CEO of Kuwait Investment
Projects Company (Kipco) Faisal Al-Ayyar held talks Tuesday with Tunisian
Premier Mohammad Ghannouchi on ways of increasing investments in the North
African country.
Al-Ayyar, in remarks to the press after the meeting, said Kipco sought to
explore more investment opportunities to double the size of its investments in
Tunisia.
He said his talks with Ghannouchi was a chance to get acquainted with the
Legisiative framework of investments and incentives extended to foreign
investors.
Prime Minister Ghannouchi, said Al-Ayyar, expressed strong desire to
attract Arab capitals into Tunisia.
Al-Ayyar arrived here ealier today on top of a delegation representing
Kipco within a tour to North African countries on the occasion of launching
the North Africa Holding Company, which has a capital of USD 200 million. The
company is designed to boost investment operations in Tunisia, Algeria,
Morocco, Libya and Egypt. (pickup previous)
