KUN0013 4 GEN 0297 KUWAIT /KUNA-ENS6 ECO-KUWAIT-KNPC-HRD HRD National signs USD two million contract with KNPC KUWAIT, Nov 11 (KUNA) -- HRD National has signed a USD two million contract with Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) for placing an employment efficiency and efficiency evaluation system, said HDR National's Assistant Director-General Yasmeen Al-Musalam. Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), she said the system is to be placed in accordance with up-to-date systems of management and human resource development and in cooperation with international companies specialized in this field and in technical training. She went on to say that the contract comes as part of the serious efforts of KNPC's development and human resource sector for elevating the company's performance in this field and in others. Al-Musalam explained that the contract extends for 18 months, starting in mid-November, adding that KNPC's 650 job titles would be reviewed in terms of professional efficiency. She added that these jobs include technical and administrative sectors, as well as assistance positions at refineries and local marketing departments, noting that evaluation would include necessary training and development for each position. She also said that HRD National would be forming a specialized team to guarantee the systems effectiveness and long-term development, adding that international consultants specialized in evaluating efficiency of administrations of the oil sector would be implementing the project. HRD National is a Kuwaiti company specialized in providing consultation on administration, training, and education, and has undertaken a number of projects for major Kuwaiti companies on administrative and human resource development since its establishment.
