KUN0057 4 GEN 0167 KUWAIT /KUNA-UPL3 POL-LD KUWAIT-PM-HPC Kuwait higher petroleum council meets and approved many oil matters KUWAIT, Sept 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Higher Petroleum Council (HPC) met here Monday and approved, among other things, HPC sub-committees and proposed amendments of statute of Kuwait Aviation Fuel Company (KAFCO), an official statement said. The HPC meeting was chaired by H.H. the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah who congratulated the new members who were appointed by an Amiri Decree. Council members also approved proposed amendments on the financial charter of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and its affiliate companies, in accordance with recommendations of HPC finance committee. The statement said the HPC members also approved to unchange prices of gas and condensers between the KPC and the ministry of energy.
