Korea nuke talks visits Pyongyang TOKYO, Aug 27 (KUNA) -- China's chief delegate to the six-way talks on North Korea's nuclear programs left Beijing for Pyongyang Saturday on a four-day visit ahead of the expected resumption of the talks, China's official media said. Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei will discuss with North Korean officials ways to improve bilateral relations and the nuclear disarmament talks, Xinhua News Agency said. Wu, also the Chinese delegation head to the fourth round of the six-party talks, indicated during a visit to Tokyo on Thursday that the stalled talks would resume on September 2. Earlier this month in Beijing, the six-party talks, involving China, North and South Korea, the US, Russia and Japan, entered a three-week recess after the six nations failed to adopt a joint document aimed at denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula.
