US troops destroy home in which Qusay, Uday were killed in Mosul KUWAIT, July 26 (KUNA) -- U.S. army engineers began on Saturday destroying the home in which Saddam Hussein's sons Uday and Qusay where killed in the city of Mosul in north Iraq last Tuesday.
THe British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) said the 10-day demolition operation of the house aims at enabling the U.S troops to find any proof on where Saddam Hussein might be hiding.
The house is owned by an Iraqi businessman called Nawaf Al-Zaidan who is related to the family of Saddam Hussein.
BBC said that the U.S. command refuse to comment on speculations that this man had informed the U.S. authorities about the presence of Uday and Qusay in return for 30 million dollars.
