Nazaha refers public works officials over forgery, public funds abuse

KUWAIT, Jan 4 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) referred Sunday a supervisory official and others at the Ministry of Public Works to the Public Prosecution over suspected forgery and embezzlement of public funds.
In a statement, Nazaha said it will continue examining reports, collecting evidence and conducting investigations into all serious information that meets legal requirements.
The authority praised informants for supporting its work, stressing its commitment to providing maximum protection and confidentiality guaranteed under the law and executive regulations. (end) ath.aai
