KUWAIT, Dec 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohammad Al-Wasmi on Saturday extended his highest congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on the second anniversary of his accession to power.
In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Wasmi praised the Amir's distinguished record of service and achievements in advancing the nation across various fields.
He prayed for continued success for His Highness the Amir and for sustained development and prosperity during his reign.
Sheikh Meshal assumed office on December 20, 2023, becoming Kuwait's 17th ruler after six decade career marked by security and military leadership roles, service as Crown Prince, and representation of the country in numerous official missions. (end)
