Kuwait's Mubarak Al-Abdullah College delegation visits Oman defense studies academy
MUSCAT, Dec 16 (KUNA) -- A delegation from Mubarak Al-Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College (MAJCSC) visited Oman on Tuesday as part of efforts to bolster military and academic cooperation as well as exchange expertise between the two countries.
A statement by the General Staff of Kuwait's Armed Forces said that the delegation was headed by Air Vice Marshal Fahad Al-Khurainj, noting the visit is part of the international visits program aimed at broadening cooperation, sharing academic experience and reinforcing ties between the armed forces of Kuwait and Oman.
During the visit, Air Vice Marshal Fahad met with Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defense Studies Major General Hamad bin Ahmad, where both sides exchanged talks and discussed several issues of mutual interest, particularly in academic fields.
The delegation was briefed on the academy's missions and its role in preparing strategic and defense studies and research, as well as its key activities and programs. (end)
