Bahrain's Amb. affirms strength of Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations

By Nasser Al-Khamri KUWAIT, Dec 16 (KUNA) -- Ambassador of Bahrain to Kuwait Salah Al-Malki affirmed on Tuesday the strength of relations between the two brotherly countries witnessed in various fields.
Speaking to KUNA, Ambassador Al-Malki expressed joy over the deep-rooted relations linking Kuwait and Bahrain, adding that the leadership and people of both countries were willing to pursue more avenues of cooperation.
He took the chance to congratulate his country on the advent of its National Day and hoped that the occasion would return with further development and progress for Bahrain.
The Ambassador said that Bahrain will be taking the presidency of the GCC Council as well as becoming a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the 2026-27 term, indicating that those were great responsibilities reflecting regional and international trust in Bahrain. (end) nmo.gta
