Arab parl. condemns storming UNRWA HQ by Israeli occupation forces

CAIRO, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammad Al-Yamahi strongly condemned the Israeli occupation's storming of the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the occupied city of Jerusalem, describing the assault as a blatant violation of all international laws and conventions.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Al-Yamahi affirmed that the occupation's aggressive practices come within the framework of a systematic campaign obstruct UNRWA's ability to provide services to millions of Palestinian refugees, and terminate its operations. He explained that storming the premises of a UN organization operating under the United Nations flag constitutes a full-fledged international crime, calling on the international community and the UN to act immediately "to rein in the lawlessness of the occupying power, which has come to threaten the very foundations of the international order."
