BEIRUT, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced on Sunday that the final toll of the strikes carried out by the Israeli occupation on the southern suburb of Beirut reached five dead and 28 injured.
The strike had targeted an apartment in a building in Haret Hreik, southern Lebanon, causing significant damage to cars and surrounding buildings.
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam commented on the strike on his X platform, saying that the attack "requires uniting all efforts behind the state and its institutions."
He added that protecting the Lebanese people and preventing more bloodshed is the government's priority in this stage.
Salam said, "the only way to establish stability is through the full implementation of Resolution 1701, extending the state's authority over all its territories with its own force, and enabling the Lebanese army to carry out its duties." (pickup previous)
