By Alaa Al-Ba'noun KUWAIT, Nov 6 (KUNA) -- The Touristic Enterprises Company (TEC) inaugurated Thursday the fourth season of Winter Wonderland Kuwait, spanning over 129,000 square meters, as part of its plan to expand and enhance the country's entertainment destinations.
Acting Marketing Director and the spokesperson Abdullah A-Rafea told KUNA that this year's edition introduces new designs and more than 70 rides and attractions for all age groups, including an outdoor skating rink, two themed castles for horror and adventure, as well as a dedicated stage for concerts and events.
He noted that the season also features expanded food and beverages areas and new collaborations with local partners to deliver the best experience for the visitors. Kuwait's Winter Wonderland, he added, has become one of the country's leading seasonal destinations, boosting tourism and the local economy by attracting visitors from inside and outside Kuwait, while also supporting small and medium enterprises through new investment opportunities.
Al-Rafea reaffirmed that part of its social responsibility, TEC provided 266 job opportunities for Kuwaiti youth working at the park for the fourth consecutive year.
TEC, a fully state-owned entity, oversees the operation, management, and development of Kuwait's touristic and recreational facilities, It collaborates with government bodies, the private sector, and international partners to promote the country's tourism and entertainment industries. (end) aab.sar
