GAZA, Nov 3 (KUNA) - The Palestinian health authorities in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that seven martyrs were brought to hospitals in the past 24 hours.
In a press statement, the authorities said that among the victims were three martyrs and six injuries, in addition to three others whose bodies were recovered from destroyed areas, while a seventh martyr succumbed to wounds sustained earlier.
The statement added that some victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to the severe destruction and ongoing security challenges.
Since the ceasefire declared on October 11, the ministry reported that 236 Palestinians have been martyred, while relief teams have recovered the remains of 502 martyrs from various locations across the Gaza Strip.
This brings the total death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza to 68,865 martyrs and 170,670 injuries since the beginning of the assault.
The authorities urged families of the missing to register the names of their relatives through previously announced electronic links, in accordance with established procedures. (end)
