Israeli occupation kills 22 Palestinians in Gaza in 48 hours

GAZA, Nov 1 (KUNA) -- Health authorities in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that 22 martyrs had arrived at the Strip's hospitals in the past two days.
According to their daily report, medical teams recovered 17 martyrs from destroyed homes. Five Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces, and nine others were injured in the past 48 hours.
They reported the Israeli aggression's death toll has risen to 68,858 deaths and 170,664 injuries since October 7, 2023.
They clarified that since the ceasefire on October 11, 2023, the total number of martyrs has reached 226, with 594 injuries, while 499 martyrs have been recovered from under the rubble.
Health authorities added that 30 bodies of martyrs released by Israeli occupation authorities through the International Committee of the Red Cross were received yesterday, bringing the total number of bodies received to 225. (end) wab.ara
