KUWAIT, Oct 11 (KUNA) - The Youth Public Authority launched the Investors Program on Saturday as part of efforts to support entrepreneurship through the Kuwait Digital Startup Campus (KDSC) in collaboration with the world's largest aerospace company Boeing and US technology giant Meta.
Acting Director General of the Authority, Nasser Al-Sheikh, stated that the program is supported by the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and aims to strengthen Kuwait's investment ecosystem by empowering a new generation of high-potential startup investors.
Al-Sheikh noted that the program runs from October to December 2025 and seeks to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to invest confidently in the Kuwaiti and Gulf business environments.
The program includes virtual training courses, specialized workshops, exclusive field events, and targeted resources for both new and experienced investors interested in co-investment and regional collaboration.
Al-Sheikh added that the initiative attracted hundreds of applications, reflecting growing interest in investor-focused programs and the key role of KDSC in bridging capital with entrepreneurial ideas.
The first cohort includes 20 carefully selected investors from diverse backgrounds, all sharing a commitment to supporting Kuwait's innovation-driven economy.
Participants will gain direct access to promising Kuwaiti startups aiming for regional and global expansion, boosting opportunities for impactful and sustainable investment.
The Authority remains committed to backing initiatives that open new horizons for youth and contribute to the development of a knowledge-based, digital economy.
