BERLIN, Aug 6 (KUNA) -- A poll released on Wednesday showed that 58 percent of German companies expressed concerns over the pontential impact of the customs deal between the European Union and the US for their businesses.
According to the poll, which was supervised by the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and presented to journalists, the situation is worse for companies dealing with the US market, as the poll indicated that 74 percent of these companies are concerned about the agreement.
The poll also showed that only five percent of companies dealing with the US market view their business prospects with optimism.
The poll comes weeks after European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and US President Donald Trump agreed to impose 15 percent customs duties on imports coming from EU countries. (End)
