Israeli occupation strikes kill 119, injure 866 in Gaza

GAZA, Aug 3 (KUNA) -- At least 119 Palestinians were martyred and 866 others wounded in renewed strikes by Israeli occupying forces on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, said Gaza health authorities on Sunday.
A number of victims and martyrs are still trapped under the rubric of devastated buildings and along roads since Palestinian ambulances and civil defense teams cannot reach their bodies due to nonstop Israeli occupation bombardments, they said in a press release.
The latest victims have thus raised the death toll from Israeli occupation brutalities since October 7, 2023 to 60,839 martyrs, while 149,588 others have been injured.
Furthermore, 65 Palestinians were shot dead and 511 others wounded while trying to get humanitarian aid, thus bringing the total number of martyrs killed while waiting for food up to 1,487 and those injured up to 10,578 since Israeli occupation forces started their aggressions on the Palestinian territory.
