Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health
BEIRUT, Aug 1 (KUNA) -- Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health announced on Friday that four people were killed in a series of airstrikes carried out by Israeli occupation forces on various areas across the country.
The ministry's Public Health Emergency Operations Center (PHEOC) said in a statement that the strikes, conducted Thursday evening, resulted in four fatalities.
According to the state-run National News Agency, Israeli occupation warplanes launched several intense raids on the eastern mountain range between the outskirts of Khraybeh, Brital, and Al-Mahmudiyah.
The Israeli occupation has been continuing its daily violations of the ceasefire in effect since November 27, carrying out air raids and attacks in southern Lebanon while maintaining positions on several occupied border sites, in clear breach of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701.
