CAIRO, July 27 (KUNA) -- Egypt and Italy agreed on Sunday to continue exerting pressure for a ceasefire on the Gaza Strip, and to ensure that aid reaches there.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry stated that Egyptian Foreign Minister and Immigration Bader Abdulatty and Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani discussed developments in the Gaza Strip during a call, as well as updates in the Horn of Africa, Libya, and Egyptian water security.
Minister Abdelatty informed Minister Tajani about Egypt's efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, ensure the flow of humanitarian aid, and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people amidst the blatant violations committed by the Israeli occupation forces. (end)
