RAMALLAH, July 24 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian General Authority for Civil Affairs reported on Thursday morning that two Palestinias were shot dead by Israeli occupation forces near the city of Bethlehem, south of the West Bank.
The authority stated in a press release that it had notified the Palestinian Ministry of Health of the deaths of 15-year-old Ahmad Asaad and 17-year-old Mohammad Issa, who were shot in the town of Al-Khader near Bethlehem, and that their bodies were being retained.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces fired on four teenagers, prevented ambulances from reaching them, took two to an unknown location where their deaths were later announced, while the other two injured were taken to a Bethlehem hospital. (end)
