الكويت والهند تناقشان سبل تعزيز التعاون في الطيران المدني
NEW DELHI, July 15 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) headed by President Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Humoud Al-Sabah held talks on Tuesday with Indian civil aviation authorities led by Secretary at Ministry of Civil Aviation Samir Kumar in New Delhi.
The DGCA President told KUNA that the meeting came within the framework of joint efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation in the aviation sector and was held in a friendly atmosphere that reflects the spirit of cooperation between the two sides.
During the bilateral talks, both sides hailed the historical relations between the two friendly countries, exchanged views and technical expertise in the field of civil aviation in general, and discussed the latest developments in the air transport market.
Both sides also evaluated efforts to develop civil aviation sector in tune with the passengers' aspirations and the requirements of the next stage.
The talks were attended by Kuwaiti Ambassador to India Mishal Mustafa Al-Shemali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Airways Abdulmohsen Al-Faqan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jazeera Airways Marwan Boodai, a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and technical team from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
These talks resulted in the signing of a new memorandum of understanding that includes provisions to serve the air transport market in both countries. (end)
