Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Al-Budaiwi and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic
RIYADH, July 12 (KUNA) -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Al-Budaiwi and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic discussed on Saturday the outcomes of the Gulf-European Summit.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the GCC Secretary General's participation in the Dubrovnik Forum 2025 in Croatia, the GCC General Secretariat said in a press release.
During the meeting, they underlined the importance of implementing the summit's outcomes to promote cooperation prospects in all fields, and reviewed relations between the GCC and Croatia.
The GCC chief thanked the Croatian Prime Minister for hosting the Dubrovnik Forum 2025, which is a prestigious international platform aimed at fostering dialogue and discussing prominent political, economic, and security issues of common interest.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments in the free trade agreement negotiations and a proposal to hold a joint Gulf-European conference on energy security. (pickup previous)
