VIENNA, July 8 (KUNA) -- OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al-Ghais emphasized on Tuesday the organization's commitment to providing energy with all its sources and techniques to all.
Speaking during a gala dinner held for media people participating in the Ninth OPEC International Seminar in the Austrian capital, Vienna, Al-Ghais added "we don't believe in one solution to all but many solutions."
He announced the launch of the new version of "the 2025 global OPEC horizons", one of the most outstanding strategic references in energy.
This year's seminar witnessed unprecedented participation that showed the volume of expansion and openness of the bloc on all levels, he noted.
This is the largest event in its kind in terms of content and participation, as it covers areas in the Middle East, the Latin America and Africa, he elaborated.
The two-day event is featuring representatives from member and non-member states, along OPEC+, Al-Ghais said.
The number of sponsor bodies raised from 21 to 28, along 73 speakers including 24 ministers, he pointed out.
The seminar's topics have some high-level ministerial sessions featuring CEOs, technical and climate experts and others, he stated. (Pickup previous)
