KFAS, Diplomatic Institute ink training MoU

KUWAIT, July 8 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) and Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at developing specialized training programs that contribute to improving capabilities of Kuwaiti diplomats and enhancing their skills.
In a press release on Tuesday, KFAS said the MoU comes from its commitment to supporting national institutions by enhancing the readiness of human cadres in line with the its 2025-2029 strategy, which focuses on investing in capabilities and developing a sustainable knowledge system.
It added that the memorandum aims to establish a framework of cooperation in designing and implementing training programs concerned with developing the expertise of diplomats and enhancing their negotiating capabilities, with a focus on priority issues such as climate action, and women's empowerment.
The signing ceremony was attended by KFAS Director General Dr. Amina Farhan, and Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute, Ambassador Nasser Al-Subeeh. (end) ays.nof.aai
