DCO chief touts Kuwait digital indicators

RIYADH, July 7 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) Deemah Al-Yahya on Monday commended Kuwait's pioneering role and commitment to harnessing technology as a catalyst for sustainable growth.
Al-Yahya made the remark in a post on X platform after Kuwait's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah had presented his credentials as Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the DCO.
She said Kuwait's presidency of the DCO for 2025 is not only a pioneering role but also a reflection of a strategic vision and actual commitment to employing technology and digital economy as a catalyst for justice and sustainable growth inside and outside Kuwait.
She added that Kuwait's digital indicators reflect its pioneering status as this Gulf country's Internet usage rate exceeds 99 percent. (end) kns.mt
