Kuwait partakes at FAO conf. in Rome

PARIS, June 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait participated in the opening session of the 44th United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Conference held in Italy, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Rome said in a statement to KUNA.
The conference will run until July 4, with the participation of representatives from 194 member states.
The Kuwaiti delegation is headed by Ambassador Nasser Al-Qahtani and includes Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the FAO, Yousef Juhail.
The embassy emphasized in the statement that Kuwait remains committed to the role of the FAO in achieving food security, which it considers a priority within the goals of the international 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. (end) ma.ahs
