Iranian army general killed in Israeli occupation drone attack

TEHRAN, June 23 (KUNA) -- The Iranian army said Sunday that Maj.-Gen. Ali Hossein Mohammadi - commander of the 71st mechanized infantry brigade, and five other servicemen were reportedly killed in a drone attack by the Israeli occupation forces.
They were on duty when the attack took place in Naft Shahr, Kermanshah province, near the western borders, the semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported, citing a military statement.
Nearly 20 UAVs of the Israeli occupation forces attacked military sites across Iran on Sunday-Monday night. (end) tma.gb
