Saudi Arabia condemns terrorist attack on church in Syria

RIYADH, June 22 (KUNA) -- the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strongly condemned on Sunday the terrorist attack in Damascus, Syria, which targeted a church and resulted in the demise and injury of innocent people.
The Saudi foreign ministry renewed the Kingdom's stance in a statement, emphasizing the rejection of targeting places of worship and the bloodshed of innocent worshippers, affirming that Saudi Arabia will stand with Syria against all acts of terrorism.
The kingdom sent its deepest condolences to Syria and wished a swift recovery to all the injured, the statement added.
Earlier, Syria announced the death of 13 citizens and the injury of 53 others as a result from the terrorist attack on Der Mar Elias monastery in Damascus. (end) as.maa.dm
