Iran FM: US involvement in war to dash hopes for negotiated solution

TEHRAN, June 16 (KUNA) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Monday that US involvement in the war would wipe out any possibility of a negotiated solution and would have serious reflections on regional security and the global economy.
The Iranian foreign minister made the remark in a new post on his X account, saying, "Just one phone call from Washington could silence someone like (Israeli occupation prime minister Benjamin (Netanyahu, possibly paving the way for a return to diplomacy." Araghchi added that "all proofs indicate that the goal of Netanyahu's criminal attack on Iran is to thwart a possible agreement between Iran and the US."
