TEHRAN, June 15 (KUNA) -- The Iranian Ministry of Health announced Sunday night that 224 people have been killed since the start of the Israeli occupation's attack on Iran.
The Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA) reported that the head of the Iranian Ministry of Health's media center, Hossein Kermanpour, wrote on the social media site X that "224 people, including women and children, have been killed since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on Iran."
Kermanpour noted that 1,481 injuries were registered in the past 65 hours since the start of the aggression, 90 percent of which were civilians.
The capital, Tehran, and other Iranian cities have been subjected to a massive attack by Israeli occupation forces since dawn last Friday, which Iran responded with a major missile attack on occupied territory. (Pickup previous)
