RAMALLAH, June 14 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation airstrikes killed 90 Palestinians and injured 605 others in Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours, Palestinian health authorities said Saturday.
In a press statement, the authorities said this raises the toll to 55,297 deaths and 128,426 injuries since the seventh of October 2023.
The death toll from those who arrived at hospitals while attempting to obtain aid in Gaza over the past 48 hours reached 29 martyrs and 380 wounded, the authorities added.
This brings the total number of victims who arrived at hospitals from areas designated for aid distribution since the end of May to 274 martyrs and 2,532 wounded.
Israeli occupation continues to cut off internet networks in Gaza Strip for the fifth day, in addition to preventing telecommunications company crews from repairing internet supply lines.
A statement by the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate on Saturday said that this occupation measure aims to isolate Gaza Strip from the outside world, particularly preventing journalists and media organizations from covering the ongoing war of genocide.
It called on international communications organizations and journalists worldwide to expose this punitive measure and take serious and tangible steps against the Israeli occupation. (end)
