Israeli occupation uses displacement to undermine Palestinian resilience

Photo Feature By Wisam Abu Zaid GAZA, May 28 (KUNA) -- Since the start of the its aggression on Gaza, the occupation continued to use the weapon of forced displacement from cities and refugee camps as a form of collective punishment aimed at breaking the resilience of the Palestinian people.
Out of the five governorates in the Gaza Strip, the residents of Rafah and the northern governorates have been displaced, leaving only three governorates where millions of people displaced under intense conditions.
The displaced people have pitched worn-out tents along streets and sidewalks, constantly seeking safer areas.
Repeated displacement from one destroyed areas to other has worsened the already dire humanitarian situation, as they lack necessities or transport, forced to abandon their homes and possessions.
Despite these efforts, Palestinian families refuse to leave Gaza, re affirming their determination and deep-rooted connection to their land. (end) wab.ahm
