KUWAIT, May 22 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received an invitation from Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), due on July 3.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received a similar invitation.
Kuwait's Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya was handed both invitations during his meeting with Egypt Ambassador to Kuwait Osama Shaltout, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Thursday. (end)
