His Highness the Amir's shooting championship to open on April 11

KUWAIT, March 23 (KUNA) -- President of Kuwait Shooting Sport Club Du'aij Al-Otaibi said that His Highness the Amir's international shooting championship will take place on April 11-20.
The tourney will gather dozens of eminent shooters from the Arab region and beyond, Al-Otaibi, also head of the organizing committee, told reporters on Sunday evening.
Skeet, trap, cartridge competitions for males, females and mixed teams will be hosted by Kuwait Shooting Sport Club and Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Olympic Shooting Complex, he noted.
On behalf of the committee and all Kuwaiti shooters, Al-Otaibi thanked His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his sovereign, fatherly patronage of the annual event and constant support to the sportspeople. (end) fsa.tab.gb
