1983 -- Kuwait Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah issues a decree into law for Kuwait's joining of the treaty of establishing the Arab Industrial Organization.
1994 -- Kuwait cancels border entry cards for GCC citizens.
2004 -- Kuwait Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah issues a decree for Kuwait's joining of the protocols of the child rights accord and children trade.
2012 -- Kuwait shuts down its embassy in Damascus.
2018 -- Kuwait Oil Tankers Company inks a deal with a Chinese company to build a large oil tanker at a value of USD 79.4 million.
