KUWAIT, March 13 (KUNA) -- The Minister of Information, Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi has re-affirmed the State concern for the youth as they constitute the prime force for achieving sustainable development.
The minister, in a statement to KUNA marking Kuwait Youth Day (March 13), underscored the fatherly care of the political leadership for the youngsters, noting that the Public Authority for Youth, at its centers, provides various programs and activities for engaging the juniors throughout the year.
These activities cover technological, social, economic, cultural and business sectors, he said, affirming that these programs have proven quite helpful for the youngsters to make achievements at various levels.
He boasted that the Kuwaiti youth played a crucial role in organizing diverse events and sports games namely the Arabian Gulf football tournaments. (end)
