44th edition of the ARCOmadrid International Contemporary Art Fair in Spain

MADRID, March 9 (KUNA) -- The 44th edition of the ARCOmadrid International Contemporary Art Fair in Spain began with the participation of 206 pieces from artists representing 36 countries.
The five-day event, which began last Wednesday and concludes today, is held in the IFEMA Madrid grounds fair.
The exhibition considered one of the major contemporary arts world events.
Some 450 antique and art collectors were invited to the exhibition featuring pieces such as Spanish artists Joan Miro's "Head with Three Strands of Hair in Front of the Moon" valued at EUR 1.6 million (USD 1.73 million). (end)
