KUWAIT, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah welcomed his visiting Egyptian counterpart Dr. Mostafa Madbouly for talks on Sunday, in which bilateral relations and global developments were the focal points.
Kuwait and Cairo share ties that are deeply rooted in history, in addition to a mutual desire to keep cooperation on an upward trajectory, the Kuwaiti Premier underlined as he exchanged views with his Egyptian peer over a myriad of pressing matters.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah, who was joined amid the gathering by a number of top state officials, then went on to hold an official luncheon in honor of Madbouly and the delegation accompanying him. (end)
