DOHA, Dec 7 (KUNA) -- Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi addressed on Saturday over the phone the current situation in Syria.
During the phone conversation, they discussed bilateral cooperation and ways of promoting it, the latest developments in Gaza and occupied Palestinian territories, along with other topics of mutual interest, reported Qatar's official news agency.
The Qatari official underlined that his country was following, with extreme concern, the recent developments in Syria, and stressed the need to spare civilians any consequences of this conflict.
Meanwhile, the Qatari prime minister and foreign minister called Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on the latest regional situation, mainly Syria and the Gaza Strip. (end)
