DOHA, Dec 7 (KUNA) -- Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman discussed on Saturday over the phone with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan the latest situation in Syria.
During the phone conversation, they also looked into cooperative relations between the two countries and ways to promote and develop them, as well as the latest regional developments, especially in the Gaza Strip and occupied Palestinian territories, according to Qatar's official news agency.
The Qatari prime minister underlined that his country is following with great concern the recent developments in Syria, and that it stresses the need to spare civilians any consequences of this conflict.
He also restated Qatar's clear position in calling on all parties to engage in dialogue and understanding to end the Syrian crisis in line with international legitimacy resolutions and UN Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 2254. (end)
