CAIRO, June 9 (KUNA) -- The Arab League held a consultative meeting with member states permanent delegates on Sunday, headed by Mauritania, to evaluate Arab cooperation forums with countries and regional groups.
Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the International Political Affairs Sector Dr. Khaled Manzalawi said in a press release that the meeting discussed member states views and proposals regarding Arab cooperation forums in order to coordinate collective efforts to serve issues of common interest.
During the meeting, the permanent delegates pointed out the importance of setting a comprehensive strategy that includes specific objectives and implementation to achieve the forums' goals, Manzalawi added.
He stressed that this meeting represents an important step to enhancing cooperation and communication between Arab countries and regional groups.
