Saudi Arabia signs agreement to launch (Dream of the Desert) Train

RIYADH, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia signed Thursday an agreement to launch (Dream of the Desert) Train by the Italian company (Arsenale Group).
Noting that this train is first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Saudi Minister of Transport and the Head of Saudi Arabia Railways Saleh Al-Jasser said that the Italian groups is specialized in managing luxurious train trips.
Al-Jasser noted that the launch of this project will enhance the quality of transportation in Saudi Arabia.
On his part, Chairman of Arsenale Group Paolo Barletta said that (Dream of the Desert) production stages has begun to launch the project in the fourth quarter of this year.
The USD-53-million train has 40 luxurious cabins that will be available to book by the end of 2024, the first station is in Riyadh passing by Ha'il reaching the final destination of Al-Qurayyat. (end) kns.onm
