RAMALLAH, June 9 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation troops on Friday shot dead a young Palestinian in Rantis village west of Ramallah city, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement.
It said that Mahdi Bayadseh, 29, was shot near an Israeli checkpoint, adding that the occupation troops kept the corpse.
The Israeli Army claimed that the young Palestinian attacked an Israeli soldier and tried to strip him of his gun. (end)
