Kuwait interior minister urges "simplified" voting process amid parliamentary elections

KUWAIT, June 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Interior Minister Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah called for efforts across state bodies to simplify the voting process for the national electorate, as Kuwaitis head to the polls in parliamentary elections on Tuesday. As he personally toured a number of polling stations across Kuwait, the minister said that extra priority should be given to the elderly and people with special needs as they cast their ballots, calling on security personnel on hand at polling stations to provide all forms of assistance to voters.
